Triss has made some questionable choices in the past, including forgetting to tell Geralt he was madly in love with Yennefer when he lost his memory. Aside from the endgame state that features Triss, there is another important factor to consider when advancing the story: Yennefer of Vengerberg. Though the love scene serves as the conclusion of Geralt's pursuit of Triss, it does not mean that she is out of the picture. Failing to do so will cause whichever of the two is available to be automatically failed, cutting off the romance option. Important! - Both "A Matter of Life and Death" and "Now or Never" must be completed prior to the "Isle of Mists" quest. This will lead to the love scene between Geralt and Triss. Though at first, it appeared that Triss had left, it turns out that she had been waiting on the docks the entire time.
